1. The dark use of colour gives the album cover an eary , creepy feeling.
2. There is strong imagery of death (the bed made of bones, the grim reaper like character, the dead flowers) adding to the sinister feel to the piece.
3. The strong emotion flying at you in this album is fear. The little girls face clearly shows terror and her teddy adds to her innocence and therefore adding to the horror we see in her eyes. This relates to the songs on the album which include ‘Burned Alive’ and ‘Nightmare’
4. There is a clear inspiration from horror movies in this. The full moon and the graveyard is a clear cliché horror film look and the horrid batted skull leering over the tomb stone adds to this horror film inspired cover.
5. The lack of the bands name on the front cover is clear in white but the album name is in red and slightly less clear to see. This is good marketing as the band name stands out.
